2022 marks the centennial year for Kentucky REALTORS®!
Since 1922, Kentucky REALTORS® has been the voice of real estate and property rights in the Commonwealth. Now representing more than 12,800 real estate professionals across 19 local associations, our longstanding trade organization is one of the state’s largest with plenty of reasons to celebrate!
Join us as we honor this historic milestone as we highlight how REALTORS® have helped build and strengthen communities over the past 100 years and share our vision for the real estate industry for the next century.
One thing that hasn’t changed over 100 years is that REALTORS® believe in the American Dream of homeownership. When more Kentuckians own their homes, communities are strengthened, families are able to build wealth, and barriers are broken. REALTORS® are here to help and Kentucky REALTORS® as an organization is here to help them.
KYR’s 97th President, Lester T. Sanders shares about the challenges that minorities have faced with property ownership. Much work has been done to level the playing field, but more progress needs to be made going forward.
