GRI 300: Competitive Market Analysis (webinar) - Larry Disney
This course is designed to develop practical, real-world knowledge and skills needed to prepare a Competitive Market Analysis (CMA). Using the material presented, you will become familiar with the three approaches to value, the process of analyzing real estate markets, identify the real property rights of ownership, and determine the type of information needed to convey a meaningful CMA. Gain the skills necessary for analyzing real estate appraisal reports, and assist clients in understanding the differences of a CMA and an appraisal report. Be familiar with the practice activity that is required for both professional and competent real estate sales practice.

WEBINAR STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
- Webinar students are required to follow the same KREC procedures and policies as a student attending a classroom session.
- The webinar policies and procedures are located here
- The class begins promptly at 8:00 am. The virtual classroom will be open at 7:30 am. Plan to login prior to class starting to ensure all required equipment is working properly.
- The virtual classroom closes at 8:10 am, following KREC rules. There will be 10 minute breaks every hour.
- Once registered, you will receive an email order confirmation. 1-2 days prior to the start of class you will receive an invite to attend the class, as well as login information, the procedures and policies handbook and student handouts.
- At the end of the session, as long as all requirements were followed. You will be emailed a link to access the evaluation and affidavit form. The email will be sent at 4:00 pm EST. To obtain full credit for the class, you must complete the affidavit and evaluation form by 5:30 pm EST

Larry Disney retired February 1, 2017 after serving as the Kentucky Real Estate Appraisers Board for twenty years in the capacity of Complaint Investigator and Executive Director. He is a Kentucky Certified General Real Property Appraiser, a Kentucky licensed Real Estate Broker, designated SRA member of the Appraisal Institute, designated IFAS member of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, certified by the Appraiser Qualifications Board of The Appraisal Foundation as an instructor of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), and certified by the International Distance Education Certification Center as a Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI).
Larry is a past President of the Association of Appraiser Regulatory Officials (AARO), having served two terms. He has been a practicing real property appraiser since 1977, and since 1982 he has developed and instructed qualifying education and continuing education courses for real estate licensees and real property appraisers. Since retiring he is continuing the education and consulting services as a part of the Disney Education and Consulting Group based in Lexington, Kentucky.
