Kentucky Real Estate Education Foundation (KREEF)

The Kentucky Real Estate Education Foundation (KREEF) is a 501c3 organization that serves as the educational arm for Kentucky REALTORS®. KREEF was created in 1990 to fulfill the educational responsibilities to members and the general public through the creation, presentation and operation of education programs.

The purpose of KREEF reads as follows: to promote a study of real estate, to promote suitable standards of education in real estate, to broaden and expand real estate course offerings at educational institutions within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and to promote such other activities as may foster, encourage and support the improvement of quality, interest and research in the teaching and study of real estate. It shall also be the policy of the Foundation to make disbursements, as grants and/or scholarships, to persons or entities engaged in activities encompassed by the purposes of the Foundation for the sole purpose of assisting them in the pursuit of such educational purposes.

Mission Statement:
The Kentucky Real Estate Education Foundation exists to enhance real estate professionalism and knowledge by providing quality educational services and programs for the real estate industry and the public.

KREEF is run by a volunteer group of Trustees comprised of REALTOR® members from across the state. There are 18 voting Trustees, all of whom serve three year terms. KREEF is under the leadership of a President along with a President-Elect, Treasurer, Treasurer-Elect, Immediate Past President and 11 at-large members. The Kentucky REALTORS® President-Elect and Treasurer-Elect also serve as Trustees. If you would like to serve as a Trustee, you can complete an application, found online, and return to KREEF spring with a deadline in the fall, prior to Kentucky REALTORS® Annual Convention, each year.

To register for any classroom or online course listed, you will need your NRDS ID and password.  If you do not have a username and password or have forgotten your username and/or password, please contact Kentucky REALTORS® at 800.264.2185 or use the Forgot Password page.

KREEF's course cancellation policy

If a student cancels his/her registration 3 or more business days before class, a refund will be given minus a cancellation fee. If a student cancels his/her registration less than 3 business days before class through the day of the class, there will be no refund. Cancellation fees apply as follows: $5 per CE course, $10 per CORE course or GRI elective and $25 per GRI course 100-600. Cancellation fees for other designation/specialty courses will be assessed on an individual basis. It is the responsibility of the student to notify KREEF, in writing, of the cancellation. Registrations are non-transferable.
