The meetings are open to all REALTORS® who wish to attend. Bus transportation will be provided to the to the Capitol for the Hill Visits on Wednesday morning and the Legislative Reception on Wednesday evening.
The February Legislative & Business Meeting is the first meeting of the year and a great opportunity to meet with your legislators and network with fellow REALTORS.
Doing it again in 2018! REALTOR® Rally on Wednesday
On Wednesday, February 14, KYR is putting together several events so our members can have an even bigger voice with legislators in Frankfort. KYR is emphasizing deeper and more engaging political involvement from members and is requesting your commitment to attend. Bus transportation will be provided by KYR to and from Frankfort.
REALTOR® Rally in the Capitol Rotunda - KYR is putting together a list of speakers that will address issues in real estate. This will be a great opportunity to pack the Capitol building with members to show our support for the real estate industry.
REALTOR® picture at the Capitol - all members are invited to attend - the more who show up, the more impact we will have. This group photo has become a popular keepsake for many of the members who attend and highlights the influence we have when we arrive for our meetings.
Hill Visits - each local association arranges visits with members of their delegation to voice their thoughts and give feedback on issues important to the industry (please work with your local association to plan schedules). This is a great time to sit down with your legislator and let them know how important real estate is to the economy.
Post Hill Visit Debriefing - join KYR for follow-up discussions from each region to hear about legislative meetings, Hill Visit successes and key issues.
